How long did the project take?
The project took approximately 8 months to design and permit, beginning in late 2020. The major equipment was purchased early in the design process to account for the long lead times for delivery.

The Results
FASTECH installed:
- A twin ANGI CNG compressor
- A six-pack of external storage vessels
- A PSB gas dryer
- Two fast-fill CNG dispensers with high-flow transit-style nozzles
- Remote system monitoring panels
The location of the new CNG station serves the fleet of ethanol tanker trucks that make regular trips to the ethanol loading rack adjacent to the new CNG station. This allows trucks to refuel at the same location they are filling their tanks, saving time and money. Shell also benefits from the sale of RCNG, a renewable form of natural gas they are producing at plants along the West Coast.
